Camping under the stars is an experience that everybody loves. The cool breeze, the dark skies, the warm campfire along with the twinkling stars is a perfect getaway. Plan The Unplanned brings to you not just another camping experience but camping in Magadi Valley, a land rich in organic farms. By the end of the experience, you will go home with a lot of knowledge of flora, fauna, organic and sustainable farming.

A mere 40kms away from the bustling city of Bengaluru is a working farm and biodiversity education center targeting young minds and progressive farmers nestled in a valley surrounded by beautiful scenic views. This farm is located near the Magadi district and is known for the conservation of traditional varieties of vegetables, food, grains, medicinal plants, and livestock which has been certified as fully organic since 2005. The farm is in the ambiance of a thriving ecosystem that is home to 250 identical species of plants, 50+ species of birds, and wildlife. It also has a spectacular view of sunrise.

This is a perfect getaway for those who enjoy the simple pleasures of being one with nature. There is simply so much to be looked at on the farm like the amazing world of plants, insects, farm animals, local flora & fauna. There also is a hands-on farming experience, bird watching, nature games and activities, hiking and night trek, campfire with a social night, and exploring the local culture. We assure you that this experience will make you realize the importance of organic and sustainable farming, the health benefits from nature’s exquisite herbs, and how simple it really is to integrate this into our normal lives.

Note:

  1. Magadi Valley Night Trek & Camping experience is recommended only for nature admirers, and not for any of those who expect any kind of luxuries or comforts or traveling solely for a weekend escape or leisure
  2. The campsite is on an Organic farm with beautiful forest and hills around
  3. The food will be basic Veg food that is rich in nutrients and healthy.
  4. The experience will also be a great learning one as regards to safe food(chemical-free farming), inclusive lifestyle(respect for all forms of life around us), and enjoying nature with minimalistic views (building raft with local or simple materials, natural games, etc)
