Nothing has to be won over the other anymore as PTU’s exclusive travel plan takes you on an exploration to the beatific beaches of South Goa & the tranquility of Karwar!
Karwar, formerly called as carwar a place in Uttara Karnataka, is not just another getaway near Goa, along the coast of Arabian sea! This beautiful sea-side town is a paradise for the trekker’s soul which wanders for rugged hills, breathtaking landscape and clear backwaters! Here, the western ghats directly plunge into the Arabian sea looks like mountains and waters of Kashmir. Karwar, just near the river Kali, known for its clear blue beaches, calmness, and islands, delights you right away as reach the campsite. The next half, South Goa offers the best beaches, surreal villages, mysterious forests and an ambiance to enliven the weekend. This place is a mix of temples, churches, historical forts, and multi-cuisine eateries to leave you with a trip extremely rewarding and satisfying!

Following are the pick-up points & timings:
We’ll start from Bengaluru in the evening at around 7 PM. Soon after everyone is on board, Our Trek leads will take charge and ensure that everyone feels like a family in a jiffy.
With fun icebreakers, introductory sessions and group games, it’s gonna be one hell of a ride on the Bengaluru-Mumbai highway. We understand sleep is an important factor to let you enjoy the hidden beauties of Karwar and Goa. So after all the fun sessions, the lights go off for a much-needed sleep.
Wake up to the beautiful views of the coastline and the fishermen paddling away into the ocean. We’ll reach our beautiful homestay by the Kali river by 8 AM. After freshening up and breakfast, we’ll head straight into the Kali river for kayaking. If you’re a first-timer, worry not, you will all be accompanied with experienced professionals. The professionals will first teach you the basics of Kayaking and then you are all set to paddle away. The kayaking place surrounded by beautiful mangroves and is a beautiful place for some much-needed calmness, mostly ends up as your most favorite part of this entire travel. After kayaking, you can take a dip in the river.
Later, we’ll head to the campsite for lunch. After lunch, the second part of the day will be well spent by heading towards the unexplored beaches of Karwar. First up is Tilmati Beach. The black sand of the beach against the crystal clear water makes the beach is one of the beautiful beach destinations. We will hike to the beach and walk on the cliff with those waves crashing on the rocks beneath. After exploring Tilmati Beach, we’ll head straight to Devbagh Beach for sunset. Make sure you walk till the far end of the beach as this is the location where you can see the sunset in between two islands. After watching the beautiful sunset, we’ll head back to the campsite to freshen up and have dinner. We then gather around the bonfire under the starlit sky for sharing stories and experiences. Then we head to our cozy tents for sleep or laze around the campsite for a night walk and rest for the day.
The next day we shall be heading over to Goa! If you’ve always thought that Goa is just about beer and beaches, then it’s a time that you experience the serene side of Goa.
The day starts early as we have a lot of beautiful places to cover. We’ll leave the campsite at around 6:30 AM after having a sumptuous breakfast. Driving through the quaint corners of Goa, we’ll reach Cabo De Rama Fort. The cliff fort is a standing testimony of all the wars it saw in its time. With some of the most beautiful viewpoints all around the fort, it’s a beauty one can’t miss during a trip to Goa. Indulge in some fun poses with stunning backgrounds and pose all you want because this is one hell of beauty to cherish forever.
After exploring the fort, we’ll head to the mystery beach. The bus will stop on the road and you gotta walk your way to the beach. A brief but beautiful hike under the shade of coconut trees. This beach is one of the most beautiful and unique beaches in the entire Goan coastline.

After exploring the mystery beach, we’ll head to Palolem beach. Palolem beach is one of the most popular destinations for everyone visiting south Goa. We’ll have lunch in one of the shacks by the beach. Let the beach vibes sync in with a game of football or frisbee.
We’ll start back for Bangalore by 3 PM and reach Bangalore by 5 AM (Approx).
I went with PTU for Karwar trek. Itinerary was well managed. Met a lot cool people..especially geetha and goutham (trek leads). Kayaking on Kali river is the best. Best weekend. Thank you PTU for saving our headache for searching unexplored places.
