2020 has been an uncomfortable and challenging year for most of us! Even though the year is coming to an end, the pandemic is not. Each year most of us have partied till sun rise or taken a trip to a famous party destination. This year, it’s time to try something new! Plan the unplanned emphasises on local travel to not only help boost the economy but also to discover hidden gems which are not filled with the chaos of the crowd. Imagine undulating topography of lush green, starlit skies, refreshing waterfalls, and of course a new year celebration which is simple but soulful.
Plan The Unplanned brings to you a journey to Kyatanamakki hills through the evergreen Horanadu to catch some spectacular views and Didupe falls to absorb the beauty of the waterfalls!

Kyatanamakki hills is a hill range with many tall peaks. Surrounded by the lush green of the rainforests and accompanied by fog as we ascend the mountain, it offers a varying ambiance of sunset, sunrise, waterfalls on the way, and not just the feeling but actually being on top of the clouds!

Didupe falls also known as “Kadamagundi falls” or “Anadka falls” is a hidden gem located in the Charmadi Ghat 40 kms away from Ujire town. It is enclosed with rocky terrains and dense misty forests. The waterfalls from a 70ft high rock and splashes down with a lot of force forming a natural pool at the bottom. You can get inside the water and play around but not swim as it is shallow.
